Try running msconfig and removing startup items one at a time to see if you can narrow down what is generating the error.Paul Adare CTO IdentIT Inc. Have you checked Add/Remove Programs for anything of this nature? If so and there is nothing there check your Startup tab. Click Start>Run type in MSCONFIG and select OK. From there select the Startup tab. Remove any entries that obviously do not belong. Most entries within Startup are easily searched for their specific use on the web. (Google) If there isn't anything in Startup that relates to this error message you may want to run SFC SCANNOW. Again, click Start>Run and type in SFC SCANNOW You will need your OS CD. This process takes about twenty minutes and is designed to replace corrupted or missing files. If that fails, you may need to run a simple XP Repair. Again, you'll need your OS CD. Repairs are not designed to overwrite user data but you should take precautions. 0 Message Author Comment by:soulmer2009-01-14 Perfect! It was an app that I removed from startup. Thanks for the help.
