Join them; it only takes a minute: Sign up Addressing sys.excepthook error in bash script up vote 7 down vote favorite 1 I've written a bash script that is doing exactly what I want it to do, but kicking out the following error: close failed in file object destructor: sys.excepthook is missing lost sys.stderr I'm completely stumped on how to address this. It may be related to a known issue calling sys.excepthook from threads, see http://bugs.python.org/issue1230540 Using Flask 0.6.1, Werkzeug 0.62 under Python 2.7 64-bit on Solaris10/SPARC. Unhandled Exceptions¶ Many applications are structured with a main loop that wraps execution in a global exception handler to trap errors not handled at a lower level.
