I have tried to open the same document with the demo application (TXTextControlWords.exe) and get the same result. The document can be opened using MS Office Word 2007 without any problems. I am importing about 8000 medical documents (in docx format) into a SQL Server database of which about 200 fail. I've looked at many of the documents that fail and there doesn't seem to be anything unusual about them. [Unfortunately these are medical records and I can not share the documents] I'm using Version 14 SP1. Anyone else experiencing similar issues with docx files, and in particular, is there a workaround? Thanks. Are you able to provide me a sample document, which causes the same error? In WinForms we add the reference into project and add the component to the page/form. And we load the file using the following structure: 1) Load into a mem variable. 2) Load into Editor from that mem variable.
