Your soundcard is probably not connected, or the settings are incorrect..." glenndanePRO InfinityMember since 2010 Just purchased Virtual DJ 7 Pro, have a Numark DJIO connected, and have it installed on a new Asus G73S running 64-bit Windows 7. I keep getting these errors: "Error in the ASIO sound driver: Not enough channels" then "Error in the ASIO sound driver. Your soundcard is probably not connected, or the settings are incorrect." Settings in VDJ are correct. Do I need to do something with the computer's sound card? Any help would be appreciated. Hi, I'm trying to use my Digi 002 rack with FruityLoops 10.0 and when I go to choose my ASIO Digidesign Driver in the dropdown menu of the Audio settings in FL, it gives me the error message: "Not enough ASIO output channels available. At least 2 channels are needed" What does this mean and how do I fix it so that it will recognize my 002Rack? Btw, as a side issue (which might be what's causing this is that my firewire going out from my Digi002 rack and into my computer is connected via a firewire female to usb adapter male because my computer doesn't have a direct firewire input on the back) so I was thinking this might be why i'm getting the above error message? You think? The reason I'm thinking this is because my monitors are making a weird hum noise when I plug the firewire/adaptor into the USB port. However, the above issue may be totally unrelated, I'm not sure. I can't think of anything else if it's not that though that is causing audio settings not to be able to use the driver...any help much appreciated... chal7ds View Public Profile Send a private message to chal7ds Find all posts by chal7ds #2 03-23-2012, 05:40 PM zedhed Member Join Date: Jan 2001 Location: Auckland, New Zealand Posts: 3,645 Re: Not enough ASIO output error.. ? The Firewire to USB would be the first place to start. Are you using a PC or Laptop? If you are using a PC you could get a Firewire card (SIG II's are most frequently used around here). http://www.siig.com/firewire-2-port-pcie-dv.html If Laptop maybe Firewire cardbus, depending on whether or not your laptop has cardbus port. http://www.siig.com/firewir
