These errors are just coming for only one list within SharePoint. It has about 6000 .xlsm documents but views have been configured so that it meets Microsoft Recommended Practices. The error is as follows "Error in the Site Data Web Service. (The item was deleted because it was either http://sharepoint.stackexchange.com/questions/34952/sharepoint-2007-search-crawl-logs-error not found or the crawler was denied access to it.)" PS The Default Content Access Account has full read permissions on the Web application the list resides in. Also it has the required permissions that were the pre-requisites. The main thing is the errors are not consistent as in if a document is shown to be not crawled today tomorrow it is being crawled and also there are no checked out documents. But the number of errors are pretty much consistent i.e about 150-160 crawl errors. I also checked the ULS logs but it didn't show anything. Need some help here. search error share|improve this question edited Apr 30 '12 at 12:36 Stuart Pegg 3,57033485 asked Apr 26 '12 at 15:09 Karthik Vempati migrated from stackoverflow.com Apr 26 '12 at 15:29 This question came from our site for professional and enthusiast programmers. In addition, each new file in crawl log showing with error “Error in the Site Data Web Service.” No updates are installed recently. In my SharePoint farm, there are two servers, one for SQL Database, one for Index server and the same is using for search service. One more thing, when I created one more new content source in SSP and now if i am going to delete that newly created content source it is giving error: “The application is unable to accept further updates because the last attempt to persist the state failed. See the event log for more details. ” Please guide me. 0 LVL 38 Overall: Level 38 MS SharePoint 38 Message Accepted Solution by:ACH1LLES2012-09-04 Have you tried restarting
