Error In Tuxguitar While Launching Program With Jvm
Back to Top Julian Post: Oct 22nd 2009 at 10:11 PM JVM, means java virtual machine.. what java version do you have installed ?? Back to Top Richard Post: Oct 26th 2009 at 10:57 PM I get a message which reads "Error in Tuxguitar Error while launching program with JVM" - a rather bizarre message. I'm using Windows 7 Pro x64, and have Java Version 6 Update 16 installed. I'm aware that tuxguitar does not officially support 64 bit architure, however I've been using it on Vista x64 with no problems. Other people appear to be running it fine under windows 7, as far as I've been able to tell... HELP PLEASE :( Back to Top Anonymous Post: Oct 29th 2009 at 6:59 PM Just start program in complatitly mode with Windows XP (Service Pack 2) (and 32-bit), or start it as adminstrator. Back to Top Anonymous Post: Oct 30th 2009 at 11:49 PM I am also unable to get rid of the "error in tuxguitar while launching program with jvm. I am using a 64 bit, and have tried to remedy the problem to no avail. Back to Top Julian Post: Oct 30th 2009 at 11:54 PM This problem was reported a lot of times, but i could never reproduce it to see why it happens.. My question is.. could you try if the .bat launcher works ? at folder where you installed tuxguitar ( often, program files/tuxguitar-[version] ) there should be a file named "tuxguitar.bat" that execs the application in a terminal window instead. I'll try to search for other .exe launcher tool for next release. Back to Top Anonymous Post: Oct 31st 2009 at 12:10 AM It now seems that I have been able to start it with the excelsior download rather than the regular windows 86 installer. How strange. de JVM !
