When i tried to launch Simply this morning i received a pop-up error message: error in "Simply Accounting cannot open the database bacause the database engine reqported an error. Please see the error log for more information. To resolve this issue, consult the Help or our online Knowledgebase" OK - so where is the error log located? It's NOT in the directory where the database is located and i can't find anything that even remotely looks like a log in the Simply directory. error in update As for the "online Knowledgebase" - well, that's less than useless - a search for "database log" or "database engine" returns 17 pages of links, NONE of which seems to have any relavance and the two i tried reported "the web site has changed". Can anyone offer a hint where to find that log file? Thanks! The above can be found in your Control Panel under administrative tools, event viewer, application error log. Please note that the above can be somewhat cryptic to read but is often usefull.Hope this is of some help to you, Dan Martin Cancel withoutaclue 13 Nov 2008 11:07 AM I have had the same message.
