occurs when assigning a library to a WebDAV hosted location using the META engine If you assign a library to a WebDAV hosted location using the META Libname Engine, the LIBNAME might fail with the following errors: ERROR: Libname LIBREF not available for use. ERROR: Error in the LIBNAME statement. ERROR: Unable to connect to Web server, errno = 34246592 error in the libname statement excel (An unexpected error has occurred.). The error occurs because a buffering problem in the META engine truncates the WebDAV host name. The truncated host name fails to resolve, and the Library is not assigned. As a circumvention, change the host name for the WebDAV server to be 20 or fewer characters.Operating System and Release InformationProduct FamilyProductSystemSAS ReleaseReportedFixed*SAS SystemBase SASLinux on Itanium9.1 TS1M3 SP49.2 TS2M3Linux9.1 TS1M3 SP49.2 TS2M3HP-UX IPF9.1 TS1M3 SP49.2 TS2M364-bit Enabled Solaris9.1 TS1M3 SP49.2 TS2M364-bit Enabled HP-UX9.1 TS1M3 SP49.2 TS2M364-bit Enabled AIX9.1 TS1M3 SP49.2 TS2M3Windows Vista for x649.1 TS1M3 SP49.2 TS2M3Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition9.1 TS1M3 SP49.2 TS2M3Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Datacenter Edition9.1 TS1M3 SP49.2 TS2M3Microsoft Windows NT Workstation9.1 TS1M3 SP4Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional9.1 TS1M3 SP4Microsoft Windows 2000 Server9.1 TS1M3 SP4Microsoft Windows 2000 Datacenter Server9.1 TS1M3 SP4Microsoft Windows 2000 Advanced Server9.1 TS1M3 SP4Microsoft Windows XP 64-bit Edition9.1 TS1M3 SP49.2 TS2M3Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Datacenter 64-bit Edition9.1 TS1M3 SP49.2 TS2M3Microsoft® Windows® for 64-Bit Itanium-based Systems9.1 TS1M3 SP49.2 TS2M3Windows Vista9.1 TS1M3 SP49.2 TS2M3Microsoft Windows XP Professional9.1 TS1M3 SP49.2 TS2M3Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition9.1 TS1M3 SP49.2 TS2M3Microsoft Windows Server 2003

Under the Database Options section on the Options tab in the SCD Type 2 Loader properties dialog box, the Use SQL PassThru option is set to Yes. The target DBMS supports the DBMSTEMP=YES LIBNAME statement option. The DBMS library definition that is associated with the target table has one or more options defined that contain a semicolon (for example, a semicolon that is used in the INIT_STRING= option of an OLE DB LIBNAME statement). The error is the result of an incorrect substitution of the semicolon that is set in options when you allocate the library ETLSTMP for the storage of temporary table in the DBMS environment. Currently, there is no solution or workaround for this error.
