This is from the 1141 - Final Fantasy Tactics Advance (U)(Eurasia) dump of the rom. Does anybody know a way across it. I remember the (E) version is fine, but a battery save is required to access the "after end-game" missions and what not. 26th-August-200512:02 #2 Jackofdiamonds View Profile View Forum Posts View Blog Entries nothing better to do Join Date Jun 2005 Location USA Posts 245 Thanks 0 Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts try changing the save type click on Optins, go to emulator, then go to save type, and try each savetype one at a time til you find one that works. I'm using an Emulator emuparadise on the PC as my FFTA cartridge is not working. I downloaded the ROM from a site called DGEmu and played on No$GBA. I can save the game, but when I turn it off and then turn it http://www.epforums.org/showthread.php?35043-Final-Fantastasy-Tactics-Advance-(U)-Error-in-backup-memory on to play again, my saved files have been deleted and I can only play "New Game". Help! I've tried playing more than once and also on the VisualBoyAdvance. Help will be greatly appreciated. User Info: Artilerex Artilerex - 8 years ago Top Voted Answer Try using VisualboyAdvance, its way more compatible with GBA games. Either way, savetype of this game is Flash 64k. Set it that and (do save settings for NO$GBA) reset the http://www.gamefaqs.com/gba/560436-final-fantasy-tactics-advance/answers/19309-i-cant-save game, you should be able to save after that.Sidenote: Make sure your savegame works! Do not rely on savestates, you will regret it lol. (you have to save before final boss) User Info: solais solais - 7 years ago 2 0 Answers I'm not very sure about No$GBA as the emulator i use is VisualBoyAdvance. I had the same problem with my emulator but I think re-downloading it fixes the problem. Not very sure though, as they are different emulators User Info: pwero pwero - 8 years ago 0 2 I had FFTA on the VisualBoyAdvance and it saved just fine. I'm not familiar with No$GBA but try downloading a new ROM for the VisualBoy and it should work. Try to find a good Rom site. User Info: commanderkief commanderkief - 8 years ago 0 0 another thing that you could try is doing a "save state" on the emulator. This is how I had to save mine on an old emulator and I haven't done anything worthy od saving in my new emulator. If that doesn't work, try downloading the rom again or try and use visual boy advance User Info: jordan123443210 jordan123443210 - 8 years ago 1 2 Try open gameboy that will work maybe User Info: zhengie zhengie - 7 years ago 0 1 On many emulators, you must "savestate

But that will not work if you're using a SC Lite with 1.7 firmware. You'll need to find a program that saves the SRAM to a file on your SD card. I'll try and find it and report back. If you aren't having this problem, then I guess I just don't understand what's wrong. GBA!!! Ouch. Do you have the other save file open? If not delete it if you want to try something but I don't know if it will work so you are taking a risk by deleting it as you may not get it back.Either way, try and copy the first save into the second save spot. Then play the second save file and see what happens. It probably won't work but it might. ------------------- quote quick quote joenumpty Neophyte total posts: 25since: Mar 2007 Jun 27, 07 at 9:28pm ^ re: Help!!! GBA!!! Unfortunately there's no fix for that error. I know this for certain because another good FFTA support board (like here) is part of an emulation website. The guy who is in charge of that FFTA board has written an extensive FAQ on that specific problem and if he says it can't be fixed, then it can't be fixed. Using the other save slot is a nice idea but the rom itself is the problem, so neither save slot will work in this
