Solved IIS Memory Error Posted on 2005-08-03 Microsoft IIS Web Server 1 Verified Solution 10 Comments 569 Views Last Modified: 2008-01-09 IIS has been behaving pretty poorly the past few days, I think since a windows update. Looking at the event view it is telling me the following is happening: Information : Application popup: w3wp.exe - Application Error : The instruction at "0x00b0415b" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "written". And then about 2 minutes later : Warning : A process serving application pool 'DefaultAppPool' failed to respond to a ping. The process id was '6936'. What this means is that a lot of the sites are timing out when in use. Also, when I go in to the iis mmc and click on properties for a site a get a similar message to the memory error although only on certain right click functions. 0 Question by:AbeSpain Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Google LVL 37 Best Solution bymeverest i think 132058 is the standard support line for most countries. or, here: http://support.microsoft.com/oas/default.aspx?&gprid=2097& Cheers.
