I downloaded and installed the FontExplorer X Pro mentioned and used the tool command to disable protection. Back in business. I didn't check to see if we had problems pdfing files that didn't have DinOT FWIW. My iMac only prints graphics - no fonts - on my Canon LBP7200Cdn. This seems to have started after upgrade to 10.6.7.
