My friend explained that there were steps to follow to get rid of it, but it would take a long time to do, and I wasn't really in a situation to take care of it then and there, so I put it off to take care of later. I ran MSE the next day, and then adwCleaner. Some days passed without incident, BUT THEN! There I am, browsing imgur, and I see an image I want to save as a possible wallpaper. I right click, click "save as," when suddenly, my computer crashes to a blue screen. Now, unfortunately, I don't remember exactly what the error message was, and I know that's not very helpful, but I think it may have mentioned something about the disk drives. Not entirely sure. This was 2-3 days ago? I restarted the computer in safe mode, no problem, then normally, no problem. I went about my computer business, shut it down for the night as usual, and went to sleep.
