During the installation of the our Product, MessageBox is coming up Saying that: Error Number: 0x80010105 Decsription: error number 0x80010105 The server threw and exception. Setup will now terminate. Please see the attached ScreenShot. When i click OK it is setup is aborting. This is not reprocible all the times. Next time when i am trying to install the same i didn't get any MessageBox and installation went through fine. Is anyone is facing the same problem? I have gone through some existing threads which had discussed about the same issue. One thread is saying that this MessageBox is coming due to SetStatusWindow function call. I am also calling SetStatusWindow function in InstallScript. Is this the bug with InstallShield or something i am missing? I installed the game just fine on my laptop a couple days ago and have in the past (same disk 4 years ago) installed it on my old workstation. Both Windows 7 64 Bit. However whenever I try to install it on my current workstation I get the error "Error Number: 0x80010105 Description: The server threw an exception. Setup will now terminate. " as the installation launches. What information I have been able to gather imply that I have some corrupted information in my registry left over from a previous installation however I have never installed this game on this workstation before and have run a couple of registry cleaning software (Auslogic and Microsoft) which found absolutely no problems. I do not know if it helps but here are the specs of the three systems.
