I keep getting error messages saying either the message is to long and should be broken up or that the recipiant list is to long. There are error codes shown eg: server error 552 error number 0x800ccc6D. I have run this past my IP but they cannot help. They can't intrevene in a M/Soft platform. There were some updates last week that Microsoft put out that were installed and also so Norton Anti-virus updates. Any ideas as I don't want to scrap my A/V and firewall etc? Yes they did suggest that I go to the servers e-mail method but when I tried to gert mt address book from outlook exp to the ISP email I hads trouble locating the file for the outlook exp address book file. Apperantly it has to be in .cvs format or whatever. Any files I foud the server did not recognise it. I am with Sympatico so I am stumped. I spoke to thier tech support person but he couldnt tell me where to find the correct file. even the wizard say pick the file you wantto transfer and that is where I get stuck. See this almost identical post in OE General today. I would call Cox back and ask to speak to a Tier 2 tech and cite this other persons issue. http://groups.google.com/group/micr

When I didn't get it after a while I sent another (smaller but still big) email too myself - agains stupid. Now they are stuck in the Outbox. I can't delete them, they won't go through, and it is delaying all other incoming and outgoing emails.I finally got this error 0x800CCC6D saying that the message was too large. I dont know what to do and I want to do it while drawing the least attraction to myself since I don't want the other people at work here to know how stupid I am. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Logged kpac Web moderatorHacker kpac®Thanked: 184 Certifications: List Computer: Specs Experience: Expert OS: Windows 7 Re: Outlook Error 0x800CCC6D « Reply #1 on: August 07, 2008, 02:58:01 PM » Here are some links, where you might find an answer:http://www.influentialcomputers.com/FAQ-outlook-error-messages.asphttp://www.pcperformancetools.com/outlook-express-errors.htmhttp://www.plus.net/support/email/oe_error_guide.shtmlhttp://www.nthelp.com/50/Outlook_error_codes.htmJust press Ctrl + F and type the error code, when the page opens.Any luck?
