Replication seems to be working perfectly however when I try to script the publication I am receiving the error in the title. I have tried to replicate this on another instance but again there were not problems. There isnt enough information about the error 20036 to understand why this is occurring. What would cause it? This is a new installation on a new Win 7 system. I am converting from QuickBooks Quickstart 2007. The old company file converted ok and I was able to see the data and change a few options. error number Now, when I restart Quicken, I get an "Unrecoverable Error" dialog code 20036 82349. If I hold down CTRL and try to use the sample file I get the same error. The report references the .nd file. I have uninstalled & re-installed Quickbooks. The built-in File Doctor indicates no error with the file. I installed the update error number 20036 and still have the problem. This is a simple installation - one computer, one user. I also renamed the .nd file and let QB recreate it. I tried starting and holding the ALT key down - same results. Also renamed qbwuser.ini and let Quickbooks recreate it. Same Problem.Any ideas? Does any know what the error code indicates? 1 comment × Close Why do you want to report this? Spam Profanity Threats/Abuse Inappropriate Virus/Danger Broken Links Other Answer Hello john.☺ QBWin.log is for damaged company file. You also mentioned that this is happening on QuickBooks sample file which means this is more on application problem. We can run a selective start up and see if this will work.
