Error Message - Error number -239: DMS-E-GENERAL, A general exception has occurred during operation 'prepare request'. Resolving the problem Using Imp 6.0 613 without the [Query Options] heading in the impromptu.ini file. Modifying the Impromptu.ini file by adding [Query Options] heading and the line 'use automatic Oracle decode=0' . When ran the report again the SQL was shorter and had no Decode in the SQL. Alternative would be to create a view on the database which performs the calculations.
