Error Number 333 Unexpected Bus Free
Location: Melbourne Hello Friends, Just to tell you bit about background. We were using Tapeware Software to operate HP DAT72 tapedrive to backup data. Recently we have to replace tapedrive so bought new one. Inserted new tapedrive same brand HP DAT72. Installed the new driver, upgraded the firmware. First time when I tried to run backup process it gives following error message. Does any one have any idea what it is? Error: 333, Unexpected free bus. I have searched on google but couldn't find any relevant answer. Error description from HP: Error Number 333 — Unexpected bus free Description: SCSI bus has unexpectedly gone to a bus free state. Either there is a target device problem or the SCSI bus has been physically disconnected from the target.
