or Internet Service Provider (ISP). The server responded: -ERR The paramenter is incorrect.' 0x800CCC90 is a 0x800ccc18 outlook 2003 generic message referring to a lack of communication with your mail server. It's not very explanatory though and could be followed by a variety outlook express error number 0x800c0133 of reasons. In this case ERR The parameter is incorrect. This seems to happen during the downloading of emails, usually when there is more than a few on the server and can show up at any time during the https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/202061 download. It also means when you send/receive again; the same emails will be downloaded over and over. I have resolved this by re-installing security software. Trying the email in safe mode (f8 on startup) convinced me it was not an ISP or Outlook problem and only once I had removed the security software did it actually work in normal mode. Even after I disabled the mail scanner and spam filter in Bullguard the problem was still there so disabling it https://fixms.wordpress.com/2010/09/13/error-0x800ccc90-your-incoming-pop3-e-mail-server-has-reported-an-internal-error-err-the-paramenter-is-incorrect/ will probably not work. Another thing that could cause this is a corrupt message on the server. I just had this problem with a customer who had 3 pc's all accessing the same mailbox all with this same problem. I moved all his email to drafts in the webmail and pop3 started working again. Moving each mail a few at a time I found the corrupt ones, there was 2 and neither had anything in the body so might be worth trying this too. Like this:Like Loading... I had the same problem, I accessed my Email Inbox on my Server's Webmail and deleted a few messages that must have been corrupt, and that fixed my outlook 0x800CCC90 problem. Reply Leonard August 19, 2013 @ 12:35 am This advice is right on target. My iPad and Outlook 2003 were accessing the same mailbox. AT&T tried fixing the problem by focusing on the email account settings which of course didn't fix the problem. Reply Leave a Reply Cancel reply Enter your comment here...
