Account: 'server_name.com', Server: 'server_name.com', Protocol: IMAP, Server Response: '', Port: 993, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800C006F In Windows Live Mail the message is similar: Unable to send or receive messages for the account. Your 'Inbox' folder was not polled for its unread count. Server Response: Your IMAP command could not be sent to the server, due to non-network errors. This could, for example, indicate a lack of memory on your system. Server: 'server_name.com' Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800C006F Protocol: IMAP Port: 993 Secure(SSL): No If the port number is the reason for the error, the only thing you need to do is either to enable encryption and use the encryption port number 993, or to leave encryption disabled but change the port number to 143. We have recently beengetting dozens of reports of accounts receiving the following errors on a regular, reoccurring basis: "Task 'server name - Sending and Receiving' reported error (0x800ccc0f): 'The connection to the server was interrupted. If this problem continues, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP)." "Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Increasing the Server Timeout in email clients doesn't resolve the problem, although it may be useful to note that Apple Mail, Thunderbird, and Outlook 2003 customers do not seem to ever experience this problem. It is apparently just Outlook 2013 and Windows Live Mail clients (not sure about Outlook 2007). In the detailed logs there doesn't seem to be anything amiss. I've been trying to get some customers to enable Diagnostic Logging in their email clients so w
