I want to set up a ubunutu desktop so I can also navigate using TightVNC. This whole process unfortunately gets stuck at some error codes. I've searched this and many other sites but I can't find a solution to my specific situation. However I have learned that E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1) is a generic error code as well as dpkg: error processing package "x" (--configure). From what I can figure out from the code my install is not completed because 12 packages are unconfigured: bluez bluez-alsa:amd64 gnome-bluetooth indicator-bluetooth unity-control-center gnome-shell gdm gnome-user-share ubuntu-desktop unity-control-center-signon webaccounts-extension-common xul-ext-webaccounts Unfortunately I have no clue how to fix this since I'm a complete beginner. Bellow I will past some more error code example so you guys can better help me out. I've tried to learn/find as much info as I could on my own but I'm real
credit card? I’ve used my card elsewhere successfully. As a safety precaution, credit card transactions include an Address Verification System (AVS) check. The purpose of the AVS check is to ensure the address you provided matches the address your credit card company has on file in its AVS system. If your bank returns anything less than a FULL MATCH, Line2 will decline the transaction. **Please note that you may still see a $1 pending authorization on your online statement. That authorization hold is temporary and won’t be converted into a charge. For most banks, the hold is released within 7 days.** You’ll need to resolve this issue with your bank before re-entering your credit card information in your Line2 account. Otherwise, each try will result in an additional $1 authorization hold. How to fix an AVS error Call the bank that has issued your credit card and find out the exact address it has on file for AVS checks. You may need to speak with a supervisor or manager if the customer support rep with whom you speak isn’t familiar with AVS checks. Once you have the correct AVS address, re-enter your credit card information in your Line2 account. AVS work-arounds If you can’t get through to your bank, below are some common work-arounds you may wish to try. Please note, however, that each attempt will create an additional $1 authorization hold on your card. If you’ve moved since your credit card was initially issued, try entering your former address. If you’re using a PO Box, try entering the box number first (“123 PO Box” rather than PO Box 123.”) If you’ve entered your apartment or unit number prior to the street address (as is common for Canadian addresses), try it the other way around. In other words, type in ”4 Main Street – Apt 222” rather than “222-4 Main Street.” If you’re using a credit card that’s registered to a business name, try typing the business name before the address (“My Business Name – 909 Main Street” instead of “909 Main Street.” Was this article helpful? 1 out of 8 found this helpful Have more questions?
