on the volume snapshot being performed. Resolving the problem The shadow copy storage limit needs to be increased in order for the snapshot to succeed. Open Control Panel / System / Advanced System Settings. Select the System Protection Tab. In the Protection Settings box, select the System Drive (Usually C:). Click the Configure Button. In the Disk Space Usage section, use the slider to increase the amount of disk space allocated to System Restore. Servers will be used for file servers. I installed TSM client 6.2.4.7. TSM server is 5.5. According to the TSM documentation tsm server and client is compatible. After installation I used the wizard to configure client scheduler and journal services.
