Cause This issue has been reported to Quality Engineering as SPR# dpkg error processing archive *.deb (--install) HTAA5Y4AGL and determined not to be a Lotus Notes problem. The problem occurs if there is identical code in the Globals of a Form and a Subform on that form. Duplicate include statements on a Form and a Subform on that same Form are not

supported. Resolving the problem Modifying the form and subform so that they do not have identical code in the Globals section should resolve this issue. This issue can occur inconsistently. It has been noted that the issue might not occur if there is another subform on the form that precedes the problematic Subform containing the identical code. However, if the position of the two subforms is reversed, the problem then appears, especially if the second Subform has no code in its Globals section. I have four vignettes in the package. For references we'll call them Vignettes A - D. When I run R CMD check, I get the error Error: processing vignette 'Vignette A.Rmd' failed with diagnostics: 'what' must be a character string or a function However, anytime I dpkg error processing process Vignette A by using the knit button in R Studio, the document compiles just fine. So I started playing around and eventually, I found that R CMD check fails anytime I have both Vignettes A and C in the package. But any time I remove either one of those two vignettes, R CMD check passes with no errors. I haven't any clue where to start on this one. Any ideas on what could be the problem with these two files coexisting in a package? I'm using R 3.2.0. The package in question is in the development branch at Github Output from .Rcheck log file * checking files in 'vignettes' ... OK * checking examples ... Display Modes R7 folders think they're Rules views? Carl Fink Guest Posts: n/a 04-13-2006 This is very weird. My company rolled out Relavis eSales, a product which includes an enhanced mail template. For one, and only one, of our users, installing this mysteriously converted his mail folders to use the Rules template instead of the Inbox template. Opening them now also produces multiple cycles of these errors: Public symbol is declared in another module: VIEW Error processing use list module: 42nd Street (Global) Error processing use list module ($inbox)(Globals) Each of these appears multiple times, then the folder opens, but it opens as a Rules view (columns are Conditions, Actions, Exceptions). I've repeatedly used the Upgrade Folders action, but it doesn't help. Even if I manually select the Inbox folder template, the folders remain Rules-style. Replacing the design with the R7 mail template does not fix the problem, even when I again use the Upgrade Folders action. Fixup, compact, and updall also don't help. I'm stumped (and very frustrated).
