I tried to deploy the report library, I got the error "Deploying 1 data source(s) and 8 design(s) in 43 culture(s) (345 item(s) total)… Deployment failed unexpectedly with the message: An unexpected error occurred while compiling expressions. Native compiler return value: ‘[BC30137] Error saving temporary Win32 resource file ‘C:WindowsTEMPvbcC82D.tmp': System Error &H80070020&’. See the log file for further details. The deployment log file can be found at "C:UsersUserNameAppDataLocalTemp2tmp3DCB.txt" Answer: The issue is due to the fact that the Anti virus scanner is locking the .tmp file while the deployment process is trying write into it. To be https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/21b8k07w.aspx able to resolve the issue, we should disable the anti virus scanner for the meantime while we deploy the reports. Or we can add the ".tmp" file types to the exclusion list of the scanner. In addition, there will be an issue with reports deployment using a regular domain user in Windows server 2008. If you plan to have someone deploy the report https://ax2009.wordpress.com/2009/09/04/error-saving-temporary-win32-resource-file/ with a non-Admin account, we suggest disabling UAC. Otherwise, it is good to leave it at enabled. Like this:Like Loading... Related This entry was posted in 未分类. Some of us are seeing a new error we used to never see when building solutions in Visual Studio (happens in both 2008 and 2010): Error generating Win32 resource: The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process. It always points to some temp file in our output folder, for example: MyProject\obj\Debug\CSC5123.tmp This happens about once every four or so builds. We then will try to run the same exact build again, and it will usually succeed. In some cases though, it will fail again on the same project, and in same cases, it will fail on a different project. There's really no rhyme or reason to it. But it's very frustrating, especially when it doesn't happen until the build has been running for 20 or so seconds. This also doesn't happen to all of our coworkers. It happens to about one out of four developers. For the one, it happens about one of four builds, and for the other three, it never happens. Oh, and did I mention we're all using machines built from the same image? :) Thanks in advance for any direction you can provide. visual-studio visual-studio-2008 visual-studio-2010 windows-7-x64 share|improve this question edited May 18 '10 at 17:42 asked May 18 '10 at 17:35 Jerad Rose 7,812950129 Did you ever get an answer to this question? I am still having the same issue. –Reaction21 Feb 22 '12 at 15:50 @Reaction21 - I did not get a solution, but at some point, the error stopped occurring. I know that's definitely not what you want to hear, and sorry I couldn't give you better news. But I can't think of anything that happened that made this go away. If I do, I will certain
