Otherwise, some other software is the cause of it (maybe, antivirus) Maxim,EPIM TeamChoose your favorite http://www.essentialpim.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10042 feature so that we could develop it more:viewtopic.php?f=1&t=13483 Top robin1973 Novice Posts: 18 Joined: Mon Oct 25, 2010 7:26 am Re: Error while unpacking program, code LP5.... And to be sure I have reinstalled it again from fresh download. In the past you fixed similar problem with antivirus protection in AOL. http://www.essentialpim.com/?r=news&id=39How to monitor what is the problem? Which program is crashing EPIM PRO?Unfortunately I can't kill my anti-virus (when I kill all processes and services - anti-virus is rebooting) Top Max Site Admin Posts: 18458 Joined: Wed Dec 08, 2004 11:39 pm Hasthanked: 240 times Beenthanked: 215 times Contact: Contact Max Website Re: Error while unpacking program, code LP5.... Quote Postby Max » Wed Dec 22, 2010 2:08 pm If it is antivirus that is causing the error- they have to fix it. Means they are falsely detecting EPIM as virus. So far this is the first report of this kind for a very long time, which leads me to believe something is wrong with your setup, but I am not sure what. The first step would be to disable antvirus for a test, but you can't do that. Maxim,EPIM TeamChoose your favorite feature so
to author." by juliecg on Dec 25, 10 10:12 AM Hello! I downloaded the trial version of Ride! yesterday, played for the full 60 minutes and decided I http://mcfforum.bigfishgames.com/posts/list/133739.page wanted to buy the full version. I did so, and also paid an additional fee to get the game on a CD. I then downloaded the full version, and it activated fine, but when I tried to play, the following error came up: "Error while unpacking program, code LP5. Please report to author." I tried uninstalling both the game and the Game Manager, then downloaded and re-installed them, but error when the same thing happened. I also tried restarting my computer after installation, and then after uninstalling it, but same thing. Now, after a couple of tries at re-installing, it won't even let me activate the game! I searched on Google for the error and it seems that usually when this error occurs, it's because of a corrupted/damaged download file. That makes sense, because the trial download version worked fine error when unpacking - it's the full version download that doesn't work. Here's some info on the computer basics: Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition Version 2002 Service pack 3 Intel(R ) Atom(TM) CPU N280 @ 1.66GHz 1.66 GHz, 0.99 GB RAM I've also contacted customer support, but they won't get back to me for a couple of days (I'm assuming), seeing as it's the holidays. So, any tips on what's causing this? I'm so upset that it's not working, as it's a great game, and I was really looking forward to playing the full version! I don't have any ideas though, so hope CS gets back to you before too long. I did enjoy playing this one though. Big Fish Games Forums > All Game Forums > Ride!
