System Restore is non-functional. I tried the SFC /scannow command in an elevated Command Prompt. Nope. No help there. I tried Startup Repair, and it couldn't be bothered to do anything useful. I am looking at the Windows Event Viewer in Safe Mode and I am looking at the application error logs. As expected, there are a lot of errors for the LogonUI.exe pr
