Discussion in 'Video Cards and mom.exe bad image Graphics' started by fustercluck, Aug 18, 2007. Thread Status: Not open for further replies. fustercluck Diamond Member Joined: Dec 29, 2002 Messages: 7,404 Likes Received: 0 Recently installed drivers for my http://www.file.net/process/mom.exe.html new ATI X1950 and ever since when I start up I get some MOM.EXE error. I googled this and didn't find too much besides updating my .net framework, so i've done that, twice, and now it's still popping up everytime I boot up, now with a different kind of error. How can I get rid of this? Will installing Omega drivers instead https://forums.anandtech.com/threads/whats-this-annoying-mom-exe-that-ati-drivers-installed.75744/ fix it? Is ATI trying to make wisecracks about my Mother? All good questions. #1 fustercluck, Aug 18, 2007 myocardia Diamond Member Joined: Jun 21, 2003 Messages: 9,223 Likes Received: 0 Originally posted by: ropeadope Is ATI trying to make wisecracks about my Mother?Click to expand... No, no, it would be YoMomma.exe, if they were. But, you were supposed to have installed the .net framwork before installing your ATI drivers, not after. Try removing the ATI drivers with DriverCleaner Pro, and then installing them again. That might solve the problem. #2 myocardia, Aug 18, 2007 fustercluck Diamond Member Joined: Dec 29, 2002 Messages: 7,404 Likes Received: 0 I thought .net framework was included windows updates...also ATI had no warning to install that before installing the video drivers. I might go with Omega drivers anyways, ATI needs to leave Moms' out of this. #3 fustercluck, Aug 18, 2007 fustercluck Diamond Member Joined: Dec 29, 2002 Messages: 7,404 Likes Received: 0 I reinstalled the drivers having the newest .net framework installed and I still get this MOM error bullshit everytime I bootup.
