have a document that explains what the altiris error codes mean? I'm seeing a couple of priority 1 items for {EventRouter:: DeliverPostData caught unexpected exception} and lots of priority 2 events. One I'm http://www.altirigos.com/forums/threads/altiris-error-codes.406/ baffled about is: {Cannot delete file: C:\...Altiris Agent\Software Delivery\{xxx}\cache\AClient.exe. Access is denied. (Replace https://www.manageengine.com/products/desktop-central/agent_installation_network_provider.html XXX with long GUID). I'm guessing the warning occurs because the files are in use while the system is trying to delete them; but, why would it try to delete a file that "it" is using? At first I thought it was a rights issue but I've checked the directory structure and permissions don't appear exit code to be the issue. Anyway, if anyone knows of an error codes cheat-sheet, I'd love to see it. resmoore, Mar 31, 2005 #1 TNeumann SR Technical Acct Manager There is a 4+MB file in this thread for Error Codes. Didn't want to upload it here. http://www.altiris.com/support/forum/tm.asp?m=65330&p=1&tmode=1 I also attached a spreadsheet that has many of the Installer errors that occur during S/W pushes. -Tim Attached Files: Error Codes.xls File windows error codes size: 171 KB Views: 6,556 TNeumann, Mar 31, 2005 #2 resmoore New Member Thanks. I had found the error codes thread on altiris.com/support but the xml didn't look very reader-friendly. I genuinely appreciate the xls file. Whoever took the time to put that together deserves serious kudos. resmoore, Mar 31, 2005 #3 TNeumann SR Technical Acct Manager Only took a few minutes That's why we have the best Altiris forum out there...people actually respond to posts.
