If you have Model I, III or 4 TRS-80 disks lying around, you may want to think about sending them in. If the data is intact, I can read them into “virtual disk files” (DMK files) which will serve not only to archive the disk forever, but would also allow you to use those virtual disks in an emulator on your current computer, and to extract the data to your current computer if you wanted to. The media on these disks and tapes were not intended to hold data for 35+ years and the data will not last forever. If you do have disks lying around, I would encourage you to contact me. Answer Beginning with Version 7.1.3, IBM Tivoli Storage Manager is now IBM Spectrum Protect™. Some applications such as the software http://duc.avid.com/archive/index.php/t-219333.html fulfillment systems and IBM License Metric Tool use the new product name. However, the software and its product documentation continue to use the Tivoli Storage Manager product name. To learn more exit code about the rebranding transition, see technote 1963634. The table below lists APARs that are addressed in the IBM Spectrum Protect server V7.1 fix pack levels. Find the latest IBM Spectrum Protect downloads by going to Fixes by Version. Tip: In the following list, Rel represents the release number in which the issue was detected. In some cases, the operating system is identified (A bigfix exit code = AIX, L = Linux, S = Solaris, H = HP-UX, and W = Windows). For example, 63W denotes V6.3 running on a Windows operating system. AMHello, My names John and about a year ago i bought PTLE 7.0 for my PC. I purchased it with the sole intention of learning how to make music at home. Well, im no techy (infact novice is an understatement!) and ive been beset by errors and queries but slowly and surely im getting to grips with it. All except the legendary H/w Buffer Error that seems to occur with alarming frequency. I work v long hours so ive been tackling this problem of a long period of months, tuning here, tweaking there scouring all the forums for advice and tips. Despite playing with combinations of buffer/processors etc the error still comes up. I was reading a post re: chipset compatibility and processor compatibility and to be honest i cant tell if my system may be incompatible or not (it certainly seems like it may not bewith all the 6086 errors i get). Would anyone be able to give me some pointers (please dont be over-technical!) From my research then i have 2 questions: 1. I read that some intel D processors are incompatible but my one was not listed. Its a D930 Dual 3ghz, would there be a problem with this? It seems fairly standard.... 2. My chipset is ALi M5229 PCI Bus Master IDE- could this be a problem? I guess my final question would be what am i to do next? If one or both does need replacing how much could i expect to pay and how do i go about it?! Any other suggestions re this error would be appreciated. Thanks J.
