Sound like we all been going through the same thing with this error, like many of you I used to blow it and have the dust blow in my face too! lol, then I used to vacuum it and then it worked. after a while I had to open it up, take out the side fan and back fan and clean them up and then the error would go, a couple of months ago that fix no longer worked, had to replace the side fan which only cost £2 and it came from china, and then the back fan would no longer move no matter how much I cleaned it, I thought I would have to replace it but I didn't thanks to Bill's post, I peeled of the sticker and put a quick spray of WD40 it then started spinning freely, I now have a working system again. Jinister March 2015 I have SA-HT441,home theater, and the rear fan was sticking, causeing f61 error. The fan wasn't dirty,so I unsnapped it from the housing, and peeled off the label, and put a drop of 3 in 1 oil,in it.Problem solved, without buying a new fan.Works

a year and a half ago, we bought a panasonic SC-HT75 5-disc dvd player and for the most part we've been really happy with it. But last night, my wife was watching a 2-disc movie; the player finished playing the first disc but http://www.electronicspoint.com/threads/panasonic-sc-ht75-dvd-player-broken.55762/ when it moved to the 2nd, the player flashed up an error code of DVD H01 https://answers.yahoo.com/question/?qid=20080721171412AATrbic and wouldn't load the disk. Since then, the player won't load a disk from any slot. You put in a disc, it whirs 4 times (sounding like a faint descending whistle), flashes up DVD H01 and then NO DISC. Does the same with all discs no matter what. Powering down and back up doesn't fix it. I looked on the panasonic site and in f61 error the manual, but haven't found what the error codes mean. Is the unit totally hosed? Is it worth trying to repair? It would be a shame to have to replace it after only a year and a half. It was also hard to find a multi-disc player that fit in the stereo cabinet that we have. I appreciate any advice. Talked to support, and they said that it probably needed a new power amp, ic501 (I think). Searched the web and was told to check the cooling fan on the back of the unit. It wasn't spinning. There was another small fan inside that would spin for 10 seconds or so, and would stop. After pressing the power button, I spun the fan with my finger (as best as i could) and the unit powered on, until I stopped spinning. I took it out, cleaned it, and the unit worked fine. A new power amp unit is $95, this cost me nothing, but even if I needed a new fan, it has to be less than $5. Good luck.
