Do you know how do I enable my FC4 GUI and begin using Linux? mlf View Public Profile Find all posts by mlf #2 3rd November 2005, 08:33 PM b_martinez Offline Registered User Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: Pueblo,Colorado Posts: 724 Are you booting into a command line environment? Boot into FC and log in as root. after you are logged in, type in /etc/X11/sysconfig (I think) to set up your GUI. If this doesn't work ,

Try Code: /etc/init.d/xfs status to check if it works correctly or Code: /etc/init.d/xfs start to start it bye Reply With Quote Quick Navigation Red Hat / Fedora Linux Top Site Areas Settings Private Messages Subscriptions Who's Online Search Forums Forums Home Forums Linux Forums Linux Forums Site News / Info Your Distro Arch Linux Debian Linux Gentoo Linux Knoppix Linux Mandriva Linux Mint Linux PCLinuxOS Slackware Linux SuSE Linux Red Hat / Fedora Linux Ubuntu Linux Other Linux Distributions Everything BSD Linux Resources Linux Tutorials / HOWTOs / Reference Material GNU Linux Zone Newbie Installation Applications Hardware / Peripherals Desktop /
