I have never previously had problems with X on this system, and I upgraded to FC5 right after it came out. But now when I start I get: Code: (EE) TDFX(0): [dri] tdfx DRI not supported in 32 bpp mode, disabling DRI. Could not init font path element unix:7100, removing from list! Fatal server error: could not open default http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=118864 font 'fixed' XIO: fatal IO error 104 (Connection reset by peer on X server ":0.0" after 0 requests (0 known processed) with 0 events remaining. A couple of days ago, when it was still working, I installed FVWM because I wanted to try a window manager that didn't have all of the desktop environment extras. I did an install via RPMs from the FVWM homepage. The only system change I made by hand was to add a fvwm.desktop file to /usr/share/xsessions in order to allow me to change to FVWM from GDM. Does anyone know a way to fix this? I have looked around and other people (not fedora users, I have not found a fix from a fedora user) have said to run xorgsetup, or xorgconfig. I do not know how to run those (I cannot find them, and their directory must not be in my path because they don't run). I am not very familiar with how X works at all so I don't even know where to start looking. I also tried running X -configure and then 'X -config /root.xorg/conf.new' but that didn't work either. Thanks for any help!
