EDT Post a comment NO RATINGSLogin to Rate Tweet Pro-MPEG FEC (forward error correction) is a two-dimensional XOR algorithm with several possibilities determining the size of the data matrix. The FEC dictates that there be a forward error correction methods minimum of at least one column and at least four rows, and a maximum of no more than 20 columns and and no more than 20 rows. The total number of packets in one matrix cannot exceed 100. In order to understand this simple FEC concept, if A and B are RTP packets, then the FEC packet associated with the {A, B} protection set is: F = A ?197-154? B F rfc 2733 is the result of the XOR operator byte after byte on both RTP packets. An interesting property of the XOR operator is that if F = A ?197-154? B, then A = B ?197-154? F and B = A ?197-154? F. If A or B are discarded, then A or B can be recovered using the F FEC packet. The matrix is arranged with a width L and a depth D, corresponding to the width and depth of the matrix in the packets. The values of L and D have the following constraints: L•D ¾ 100 1 ¾ L ¾ 20 4 ¾ D ¾ 20 Email ThisPrintComment More Related Links V2X Mandate: It’s Now Or Never Infineon Acquires LidarExpertise Through Innoluce Takeover Autonomy Isn't Just About Cars Anymore Self-Driving Vehicles -- Are We Nearly There Yet? In some embodiments, the operations can include receiving a packet of gaming data. The packet includes data units and exclusive-OR check bytes. The data units and exclusive-OR check bytes are organized in the packet to correspond to vectors (e.g., columns and rows) of a matrix. Each of the exclusive-OR check bytes represent a result of a logical exclusive disjunction operation on a sequence of the data units contained in each of the vectors. The operations can further include detecting that some of the data units have data corruption and selecting one of the exclusive-OR check bytes that corresponds to one of the vectors. The one of the vectors includes only one
