From what I remember, FPSE2000 is installed by default on IIS6; or it is installed via http://www.verycomputer.com/6_f121ab186adf4d2c_1.htm the System Roles console. However, when I run the "Health check" with repair enabled, http://www.verycomputer.com/6_0a9ddb21c1f1cb02_1.htm I can then get it to work until I disconnect. Top 1. Server error: Error 5 opening registry key "SOFTWARE\Classes". I continue to receive the following error when certain clients try to access my frontpage webs. In order to correct this I manually modify the top level directory of the affected web frontpage error with the following permissions. ERROR: Server error: Error 5 opening registry key "SOFTWARE\Classes". PERMISSIONS: administrator SP RX R administrators FULL owner SP RX R everyone SP RX R iuser_apollo frontpage error 5 SP RWXD R iuser_posidon SP RWXD R system FULL Has anyone else experience this problem and, if so, what did you do to correct it? I know that these permissions are incorrect and that they may even be responsible for some of my response forms asking for a login and password but I have not been able to get a permissions listing of what all of the subdirectories, etc. should be. Hello, I'm running FrontPage 2000 on Windows 98. With FP2000 already installed, I recently decided to install Personal Web Server from the Win 98 CD. I then uninstalled FrontPage 98 Extensions with the same setup program, because I wanted to install FP2000 Extensions from the FP2000 CD. When I submitted the form IE reported: "FrontPage Run-Time Component Page You have submitted a form or followed a link to a page that requires a web server and the FrontPage Server Extensions to function properly. This form or other FrontPage component will work correctly if you publish this web to a web server that has the FrontPage Server Extensions installed." However, I can bring up my home page using http://127.0.0.1, http://jamie, etc. I have the following problems with FrontPage: * In the View menu, Web settings, General tab, FrontPage reports "No server currently in use" next to the Server version label even though I have PWS installed and started. * When I attempt to publish any one of my disk-based webs to the pws address above, FrontPage reports the following error: Server Error: Error 2 opening registry key "SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shared
