retry, it continues the download. Glad I started this morning. I'm at 75% now. SUSSAMB - The link you gave us is for Windows. Downloaded Express this morning. 05-28-2014, 07:00 PMI got to 100% and it still does the same thing only faster I think they just want us to buy a new one... 05-29-2014, 08:47 AMI've got the exact same problem. Same model nuvi and every thing. Has been over 24 hours since I started the download and garmin express windows 10 am currently at 42%. It will run for two or three minutes then the error message comes up about "there was a problem communicating with the Garmin Servers." I also know that the speed counter is way off. My max down speed on my internet connection is 6MB (I know I know, I live in the country and it's the best I can get) so there is no way that the reported speeds of 100+ MB/s are accurate. But there is also no excuse for when it slows down to sub-56k. Firewall is temporarily disabled, router settings are all fine so there is no reason why the connection should be so unstable. Have been on hold with Garmin support for about 45 minutes now. First woman I spoke with said that there were no reported issues with the Garmin servers or with Garmin Express, but offered to connect me to "Software Support", which I assume means she couldn't figure out the problem and shunted me back into the call queue. Sorry I can't be more help, but it needs to be known that this is not a one-off issue. If I ever get to talk "Software Support" I'll update... 05-29-2014, 09:15 AMUpdate: I was informed that the issue is because I am using a MacBook Air which can only connect via wifi. The file size (13GB) of the map update download apparently "overloads" this wireless connection cau
