I wanted to get rid of ubuntu, so in windows XP, under computer management and disk management, I right clicked and deleted the partition. Then I created a new logical drive. However, when I restarted my computer, it says: "Verifying DMI Pool Data.............. GRUB Loading stage1.5. GRUB Loading, please wait... Error 17" And now I can't start up Windows XP anymore! I put Linux on y bro's pc running Windows XP home Edition and then took it off by means of deleting the partition it was on. Now when I start up the computer it just says GRUB Error 17. I know what that error is, I just need to know how to fix it. I did not delete the partition with Windows on it. Someone please help.Thanks.
