Windows Says Hard Drive Is Failing
has become disconnected (Read 1156 times) trkelley42 Newbie Posts: 23 DVR Error - External Hard Drive has become disconnected « how to fix bios error on: August 02, 2012, 12:00:56 AM » My Pace Box (w/ External Hard Drive) gives me a disconnected hard drive error about every other day. The error message says that an external hard http://www.quepublishing.com/articles/article.aspx?p=2254213&seqNum=5 drive has disconnected and I must press OK to reconnect (or something like that). I can't remove the message so I press OK and the cable box does a hard reset. Upon reboot a message pops up stating that a hard drive is now connected and ready for use. The issue occurs when I turn on the cable box, so if I have shows recording I lose part https://mediacomcable.com/CustomerSupport/forum/index.php?topic=7776.0 of them due to the box resetting. This is a very annoying issue.
