Hello, My name is XXXXX XXXXX I will be glad to assist you.HDCP error stands for "Hi-Def Copyright Protection" error. Unplug any HDMI cables from the unit with the hdcp error on power "OFF". Unplug the Pioneer from power for 10 minutes. Power down the Cable box and any HDMI units that were connected to the Pioneer, and unplug them all from power for 10 minutes. Then plug them back in, plug in the HDMI cables, then turn them on. This should reset the error on the Pioneer. If you need further assistance, let me know. Wait 15 minutes, then plug power back in and tell me if the message is still there. If not, then power off the unit and plug the HDMI cables back in.
