Hp Error Code 30017
the 2nd sheet gets stuck just as it is coming out of the feeder. The 3rd sheet is stuck at the tray. This scenario ocurrs everytime the printer is started. To work around the problem, we've used the manual feed tray. This has allowed the users to print and use the printer. Powered down the printer several times but the startup problem always keeps happening. It's like the computer is sending a print job but there is nothing there. I was able to print out a self test page and several things caught my eye:MemoryTotal Memory 4MBsAvailable Memory 2.78MBs (that seems odd)Status LogCode Page50013 6391850013 6387750013 6387530017 6121430017 6121950013 59724 Respond to this 0 When you turn on the printer with tray 2 removed is the feed roller cycling?Does the tray 2 feed roller cycle when you are feeding from tray 1?If those conditions are met then the solenoid that activates the tray 2 feed clutch may be stuck in the activated position.FYI:The status code 50013 does NOT appear in any service manual, it has been found in PJL manuals and alludes to Error 52 Scanner fault. The actual error condition is related to a paper handling issue. by Stephen on Mar 14, 2006 at 7:35am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 Do not worry about the error codes. Stephen is right that the issue is probably the feed clutch or what I describe as the selnoid with L arm and the L arm has come off. You can probably fix it, but there is a lot that has to come off. You have to remove all the covers, the formatter and the gear train. Once all that is removed you will see the selenoid towards the bottom front and there should be a L arm attached and a spring on the arm which keeps the arm away from the selenoid. Just look up at the same type of selenoid for the manual tray and you will see what I mean. You will have to reattach the arm and spring which should be laying loose at the bottom. Good Luck. by dmzcompute on Mar 14, 2006 at 3:17pm Add comment Please sign in to comment Please sign in to comment HP LaserJet 2100 Buy discount ink Buy this printer More HP questions © Copyright 2011-2016, FixYourOwnPrinter.com, Inc.
