You can clear the log files by doing the following: 1. During POST, press F2 to enter BIOS Setup Utility 2. Right-arrow to "Server" 3. Down-arrow to "Event Log Configuration", press enter 4. "Clear all Event Logs" is highlighted, press enter 5. Down-arrow to "Yes", press enter 6. Press F10 to Save and Exit 7. At "Save Configuration changes and exit now", select Yes, press enter. "Error (84FF): System event log full" The server may pause https://panam.gateway.com/s/issues/2-1628853401.shtml at this error or continue to startup. RESOLUTION: This behavior is by design. The server continues to start normally and is not otherwise impacted. By default, the BIOS Setup Utility is configured to not pause on this error message. Note: Some server models overwrite the oldest events when the SEL becomes full. However, on the 9115 and 9210 servers, events are no longer logged when the log becomes full. Trending Now Answers bios error 84ff Best Answer: Your Event log is full. Click start -> run type 'eventvwr' and hit ok at the top of the event viewer there is a menu. In one of the menu options is the option for clearing the logs. It will probably be the system event log that is full so clear it out. Make sure it is selected on the left hand side.
