I recently hooked ipod error it up to sync with iTunes and wouldn't sync. So I decided to restore the iPod, but an error message came up saying iTunes can not restore iPod. Reset the iPod again. Change the Sync Settings on iTunes for the iPod to manual sync. Now you can add the music a few albums at a time. And see if it stops working after you add a certain album. 0 LVL 17 Overall: Level 17 Apple Hardware 13 Message Expert Comment by:xema2008-05-26 Under wich OS is ITunes running? On Vista you may have problem with the security settings when writing information to an USB device, IPod is an USB device. Also if you have MP3 files verify the bitrate it may be an incompatibility between the bitrate of the file and the IPod. 0 Message Author Comment by:airn

I tried then to sync my iPod with my new computer and got a slew of error messages including songs not being present and it eventually would do a temporary freeze of just my iTunes, other programs still ran fine, and would end with "unable to sync" error message 1303. Tried to update itunes, and ipod software, restarted my computer, restored my ipod multiple times, even tried to removed "enable disk use" and "manage music manually" to no avail. Can someone please tell me what else I can do?? 07-27-2011, 04:33 PM #2 musiclover92 Reclined Lounger Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: Ok Posts: 309 permalink Did you check the physical locations of music files?
