All applications print without a problem. When the user tries to print a excel document an insufficient memory unable to print error shows up. I would uninstall the printer and reinstall and all will be fine for a short time then the error would reappear. Trouble printing a 2003 Excel document after upgrading to 2010 Excel I'm new to "How to Geek" and need some help. I've just been upgraded to 2010 Excel. I did have 2007, and many of my spreadsheets are 2003-2007. When I open them I'm able to make changes to the spreadsheets, but it won't memory error let me print them. I get an error message everytime that says I don't have enough printer memory to print it. But if I copy and paste my spreadsheet into a new 2010 document it will then let me print it with no error messages. My computer tech doesn't have a solution as to how to get around this problem and it has become very time consuming copying and pasting my spreadsheets in order excel out of to get my work done. All of my word documents work just fine. They can be opened, modified and print with no problems. Help. Reports: · Posted 5 years ago Top whs Posts: 17584 This post has been reported. If I save them as a PDF then I won't be able to make changes/updates to my spreadsheets and I'll have them saved 2 x's. There has to be a way, I can't imagine that the new 2010 Excel isn't more user friendly. Reports: · Posted 5 years ago Top whs Posts: 17584 This post has been reported. The saving to PDF makes an extra copy. You still have your original Excel file which you can work on as usual. It is just a step for the printing. Costs nothing and takes a few seconds. But if you find a better way, good for you. Reports: · Posted 5 years ago Top kgilbert Posts: 4 This post has been reported.
