Turn off the Workspace I/O (to do that, in the Simulink model go to Simulation=>Parameters=> Data Import/Export and uncheck the time and output boxes).2. Increase the step size of the simulation3. Reduce the length of the simulation4. Increase the virtual memory of your computer (right click on the My Computer Icon, go to Properties and choose Performance).5. Memory requiremen

I haven't been able to find another person who has had this problem on the forum so I'm quite perplexed as to what may be https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/95887-why-do-i-receive-a-memory-allocation-error-when-i-try-to-run-my-simulink-model the cause of the problem. I have already read the information on the error message @ http://www.pj64-emu.com/manual-and-guides/ but none of these have helped I can only imagine that it's something super simple that I'm doing wrong. Understand Excel 2013 32-bit version has a limitation of 2 GB virtual address space. Is there a workaround/solution to this other than upgrading to memory error 64-bit version of Office 2013? Switching to MS Office 64bit supposedly resolves this issue, but many add ins and other apps that connect with MS Office will not work on 64bit. I have never heard of a workaround when it comes to the memory limit, since it is an issue with address spacing inherent in the programming.Upgrading to 64-bit would be the correct answer to the memory issue, sounds like you are in between a rock and a hard place though as you stated some add ins you are using don't work with 64-bit. 0 Poblano OP Sasha6094 Jan 20, 2015 at 3:07 UTC I have a similar issue with a whole department. I've been slowly upgrading them to 64 bit and that has been working great. I'm down to one computer to go but i can't upgrade it because of an add-in to upload inventory. In my case we were able

The operating system is in 64bit but my installed Excel + Powerpivot add on are both 32bit. I get the Memory error: Allocation failure when I refresh my PowerPivot to retrieve the entire table. At the last PowerPivot refresh, I was able to get 2,153,464 rows into PowerPivot. But today I am unable to refresh and always get the memory error. I am a bit confused by this. I thought I have yet to exceed the max row limit of PowerPivot 2010? I thought that the row limit was 1,999,999,997. What can I do to make it work in 32bit Excel? So given how much memory you have available, you can easily run into memory allocation issues with PowerPivot. If you can't use 64bit version, then for starters, simplest thing is to con
