Ever since I got this calculator, I have been using the equation solver on it. Just recently in physics and calculus I tried to put in a simple equation in the solver and it came out as "Error: Memory". Expert 360 Answers Re: memory error TI-89 Before you do any deleting, go back and make sure the structure on the input equation is correct. If what's given you the problem is archived, clearing RAM won't help. You have to unarchive it before you can delete it, if archived. Memory error could be that you out did a limit, and running to large of a program. [2nd] [VarLink] should take you to an area like my main folder is at (pictured below). First put a check mark next to what you want unarchived using the [F4] key. Then select [F1] manage key and the [9] key. Use the F1 manage key to unarchive, unlock, and delete. Now to delete, I use the F4 key to check mark the folder then [F1] and [1] key to delete. Remember FixYa to help you with your Ti 89.
