Thursday, January 31, 2008 8:42 AM Reply | Quote 0 Sign in to vote If you have an RTM version of Sql Server 2005 you need to start with Trace flag 1400 else if you have SP1 and above you can very well configure database mirroring without using T1400. If you still face any issues pls post the exact error message..Also FYI, You need to restore the Full backup from principal server using With NoRecovery option and also one transactional log backup from principal server using With NoRecovery optionon mirror server and then start configuring mirroring.- Deepak Thursday, January 31, 2008 12:08 PM Reply | Quote Moderator 0 Sign in to vote i am still getting the same error after taking full backup and transactional log backup.........but i am using two different instances for mirroring not different servers........please help me what can i do now.....Thanks in advance............. Mirroring was disabled in the initial release of SQL 2005 and only enabled in service pack 1.
