Solution Bug: ET1054463Symptom(s): The activity monitor will show that the hot catalog backup initiated from a vault profile will exit with status code 294 (vault catalog backup failed) even though the backup completed with a status 0.This may occur if using the fully qualified name or backup interface name in the Windows registry or bp.conf file as the master server name. When the hot catalog backup is completed, vault will initiate a verify through the bpdbm daemon using the master server name as designated in the Windows registry or bp.conf file. This may be different then the name used for the catalog backup, depending on the system name returned from the operating system.Log Files: Examples of the log file entries returned are as follows: The vault log shows the start of the backup: 12:45:47.183 [16622] <2> db_execVaultCatalogBackup: Start /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/bpbackup -p vault-catalog -t 35 -s vault -S master.server.name.com -w CATALOG_DRIVEN_BACKUP The catalog backup receives a status 0 and a Disaster Recovery e-mail is sent to the designated administrator(s). vault then attempts to contact bpdbm to validate the image:12:48:22.312 [16622] <2> logconnections: BPDBM CONNECT FROM xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.
