It occurs when I am using my wireless adapter, specifically when transferring large files via web browser or torrents (large drivers, open source software, purchased games from direct2drive.com, etc) felt I would clarify that due to the strict anti-piracy rules here. To the best of my knowledge the bsod has pointed the finger towards my wireless adapter and/or its driver. In response to the appearance of these blue screens I carried out the standard procedures - repairing the driver and browsing the web for solutions. I downloaded the 2.1 bootcamp update (got the bsod while doing that the first time) which I already had, and then repaired all the drivers. Also I disabled vistas auto-tuning. After these steps the bsod didnt occur for several days, however just a couple hours ago it happened again. I dont know what I should do to solve this and I really dont want to do a complete reinstall of the OS. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. I took a picture of the BSOD which can be seen at: http://kuru.ca/bsod.jpg Here are my system specs: Macbook Pro (2008 Edition) Core 2 Duo 2.6 Ghz (T9500) 320 7200 RPM HDD 4GB Ram Vista Business x64 SP1 Thanks in advance for taking the time to read this post. - Len reynen, Oct 14, 2008 #1 Sponsor reynen Thread Starter Joined: Oct 14, 2008 Messages: 4 Got another bluescreen.. Anyone got any ideas? reynen, Oct 16, 2008 #2 Rollin' Rog Joined: Dec 9, 2000 Messages: 45,855 It's possible the BSOD has nothing to do with the drivers themselves, but with the integrity of the wireless broadcast itself Do you get any errors if connected directly to the modem or router, or if the Macbook is very close to the router?
