I have always been able to connect to all of the Servers. But recently I am not able to connect to a single one of them. Whenever I try to click on a Server I get the message: “A Connection could not be established to Server X". Reason: General OLE-Error 16386. Please Verify SQL Server is running and check your SQL Server registration properties( by right clicking on the server X node) and try again. I can connect through query analyzer. Can anyone please help me??? Error message. (reply) Philip, Lets make sure that your master database is not corrupt run DBCC using CheckDb and CheckCatlog on the Master database that will tell you exactly what problems you have.
