GoodReader offers you the ability to access different kinds of servers. To create a server record, open the Connect control panel, find the servers section and press the Add button. Then select a server type to add. You will be asked to enter readable https://goodreader.com/gr-man-tr-servers.html title of a server record (this title is what you will see in a server records list), user name and password to access this server, URL of a server (except for pre-configured servers, for which GoodReader knows their URLs), and possibly some other connection parameters, depending on a server type. For extra security, don't store a password in a server record, this way you will have to enter it manually every time when connecting. Not all servers allow it though. Some servers, like Dropbox, OneDrive and Google Drive, provide a proprietary authentication mechanism via their own webpage. In these cases GoodReader doesn't store your password at all, and can't control how often you're asked to enter it. You can always edit server record data by pressing the “settings” mini-button to the right of server title in the server records list. If you're trying to connect to a server on a local WiFi network, and this server advertises itself via Bonjour protocol, you can find this server and connect to it automatically, without manually entering its connection parameters, by pressing the “reload list of local servers” link
downloads. Put RS url in iGetter. Network error: -9806 RS Premium account for one year with no problems using iGetter. No changes have been made to any settings. Any ideas about what the problem is or how http://www.igetter.net/forums/showthread.php3?threadid=1342 to resolve? Is there a list of errors codes available for us to review? Thanks for any help. 05-06-2011 08:08 AM Posted by: iGetter Support The error -9806 is an SSL errors and it means "Connection closed via error (errSSLClosedAbort)". Either RS or Apple has updated something in their SSL implementation, or your keychain is corrupted (if you use Mac OS X 10.6 see this info: http://decimus.net/support/Synk/synksharing-ssl-keychain-corruption). However, to avoid this problem: 1. In your rapidshare premium area, turn on osstatus error direct downloads option and turn off SSL option (My RapidShare->File Manager->Download Settings: Direct Downloads->ON Secure Downloads (SSL)->OFF 2. If rapidshare downloads start with https, try to remove the "s" from "https://" part of the URL. Just pause the download and use "Item Settings" command (double click on the download). Regards, iGetter Support 05-15-2011 05:11 AM Posted by: RickD Error Codes Thank you for the quick response. My settings had been set as you suggested. Although there had been an 'ON/OFF' setting osstatus error 9806 for SSL previously, at this time there is only 'ON/OFF' setting for Directdownload. No SSL setting shown. There has been no "s" in url. I use Mac OS X 10.5.8. Keychain Access 4.0.2 System listing in Keychain Access shows both com.apple.kerberos.kdc, and com.apple.systemdefault certificates have red circle with x. Both expire Monday November 26, 2029 10:27:37 PM ET. Both say "This root certificate is not trusted" 4 Keys (2 public, and 2 private) of same names have no markings, Date Modified or Expires. Are the instructions at link you provided for Snow Leopard only? If so, does that mean they Leopard keychain does not have that problem? Any other suggestions? 05-16-2011 04:23 PM Posted by: iGetter Support RickD, Can you post an iGetter request (plus the error -9806 response) of a problematic download.
