Panasonic Dvd-s35 H02 Error Fix
Panasonic, Yamaha, and Denon DVD Player owners have encountered the infamous H02 / H07 /H03 erors and many others on thier players or maybe the "No disk" error even though a disk is in the drive. Well many people have spent hundreds on repair or bought a new unit. But i am here to tell you that it is okay to open up your dvd player and mess around in side. If your DVD player comes up with one of
Panasonic Dvd Rv32 Error Code H07
these errors the first thing you might want to try is to open up your DVD player by removing the screws on the side and the back (depending on the model), then plug the dvd player into power outlet with cover removed. Stick a disk in and press play and give the disk a little push. Most of the time the Spindle motor is dieing out when you get a H02 error. In this case that little push may get your spindle motor to rev back up back into action. And if your as succesful as me then hopefully you have just fixed your H02 error for free without doing much work. I just got a Panasonic HT95 Reciever/DVD player to play all disks again by giving the motor a little "kick start". If that doesnt work then follow this very useful guide on how to take apart the disk drive in your Panasonic/Denon/Yamaha dvd player, and apply new oil to that dying spindle motor: http://www.crestronforums.org/index.php?showtopic=3 And if anyone has ever expierced a problem with a Panasonic/Denon/Yamaha DVD player regarding one of these problems please post your story and make sure you complain to Panasonic. We shouldnt let them get away with this. I figured this out by reading a message posted by someone on this forum and i wanted to share my story and my expierence with the H02 error: http://www.howtomendit.com/answers.php?id=13096 Adam Kolak Moderator, Hardware Analysis adam@hardwareanalys
the bush Post navigation ← Previous Next → Panasonic DVD Players - H02 error Posted on 12/1/2007 by Kyle I put a DVD into my Panasonic panasonic dvd-rv31 h02 error DVD-RP56 player this evening and to my surprise, it could not read

any disc that I inserted. Instead, it simply displayed: "H02 Error". A quick Google search indicated this was a what does ho7 mean on a dvd player common problem (defect perhaps?) to many Panasonic players. The solution is pretty simple: remove the case, open the tray and then unplug the unit. Inside you'll see the portion that spins the http://www.hardwareanalysis.com/content/topic/55214/ discs. Give this a few good whirls and start it up again. If it doesn't spin on its own, spin it around yourself a couple times and it should start up. This entry was posted in Geek by Kyle. I'm not very handy, and this still worked like a charm in 4 minutes. Assuming I'd have to spend $40 for a functional replacement, that's a pretty good payday :). On my player, however, you cannot put the cover back on, and the solution is simple. I had to make the tabs at the front of the case (on top, about 1/4 of the way in from the front) rest on top of the case instead of slotting back in to where they go. All five screws go back in, but there is less pressure on top of the drive (which seems to stop the white disk from spinning). I was too afraid to try lubing it. Will try that next if needed. You can try this to see if that will fix it:1) Eject the tray, and unplug the unit with the tray out2) Remove the case3) Locate the spindle, and spin it gently a few times4) Put the cover back on and see if that fixes the issueIf that doesn't fix it, then the spindle will need to be replacedLet me know if you need any more help with it. Ask Your Own Consumer panasonic dvd player Electronics Question Customer: replied6 years ago. Is the HO2 error definitely the spindle? We saw the info you provided in Google results. But also noted that people disagree about whether HO2 is spindle or optical reader. If you are sure this is the reason and solution for the HO2 code, then it's helpful. So far, we cannot get the case/cover off. We are assuming this means removal of the two large screws on the sides (plus more on back?). The screws on the sides are in very tightly, and only one of our tiniest screwdrivers fits them. Even my husband cannot get any of the screws to turn. Is there a trick to their removal? Thanks. Expert: Simit replied6 years ago. Yes, there are some people saying it is the optics. But it rarely turns out to be the optics when that error message is shown. If you turn the DVD player on, and you can hear the disc spinning, then that would mean that the spindle is working. But if it doesn't spin up, then it might just need a little nudge. As far as opening it, the only tricks that I can provide are general tricks to get any tight screw out. That would be to try putting a small drop of WD40 on there(Don't get it anywhere else). Then put a screwdriver in, and tap it gently wit
