Open it and see if the disc spins, if not give it a little turn by hand, if it starts spinning the motor is defective. foreman202Unregistered guest Posted on Saturday, January 01, 2005 - 02:19 GMTPanasonic sucks they break bmccooeyUnregistered guest Posted on Wednesday, January 05, 2005 - 16:58 GMTActually, there is a fix for this. It is the spindle. Add a little oil to the spindle and let it sink in. You may want to do a little manual turn to work the oil in. You may have to remove some pieces to get at the spindle, but once you do, fixing it should be a snap. Can't guarantee how long the fix will last though. Just did this myself last night. This message occurs when the disc stops spinning at the correct speed. The drive spindle sits in a plastic bushing. The bushing becomes worn and causes the spindle to slow. Putting a drop of oil in it can temporarily fix it. I tried it and then tested it for several hours. The problem returned so I junked it and got a new one. This is a very common problem with the RV32 and generally occurs about the time the factory warranty expires.
